NTSC
is the analog television system in use in the United States, Canada, Japan, South
Korea, the Philippines, Mexico, and some other countries, mostly in the Americas.
It is named for the National Television System Committee[1], the U.S. standardization
body that adopted it.
PAL,
short for Phase Alternating Line, is a colour encoding system used in broadcast
television systems in large parts of the world, and is the format here in Australia.
This
can pose issues for people such as bring home videos from the U.S to Australia
and wanting to watch them, this is fine if your Television can switch from the
two, however in some cases it will need to be converted.
If
your unsure of the difference, the main noticeable difference is the frame rate.
Australia
runs on 25 fps (frames per second) whether your wathcing t.v or a home video thats
what we use here.
America
for example uses 23.976 fps, that is why it looks strange to watch.
Using
state of the art software we can convert these.
